Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Thank you visiting my new website.  It is a work in progress, so stop by often as I will be adding many more resources and articles.   Check out my blog, Spirit and Truth and feel free to share your thoughts and comments.  I am here to serve you and do whatever I can to help worship leaders, musicians and pastors  forge their relationships and fulfill their callings.

In 1970, Jesus Christ profoundly changed my life at the age of 17 and set me on a journey that has been pretty phenomenal.  I have spent the last 37 years of my life in Contemporary Christian Music ministry primarily as  worship pastor.  I co-founded one of the east coast's first 70's Jesus Movement bands, Kinfolk.  During that time I wrote the song, Alpha & Omega, which was later recorded by the Gaither Vocal Band.   My wife of 36 years, Martha and I spent most of the 70's on the road with Kinfolk.  For the next 20 years I served in local churches as a youth pastor, music minister and associate pastor (counseling, young married and home group ministry).  I also worked for 2 national ministries as national event director and as a producer of Talent and Events for the 3rd most visited theme park in the US.

I am currently the Worship Pastor at Calvary Worship Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Everyone should be a mentor to someone in some way.  Now that I am nearly 40 years into music ministry, I have naturally transitioned  to mentoring the next generation of worship leaders and worship musicians.  I see a tremendous need for mentoring in this area.  Seminars and training resources abound for today's worship leader and yet iterally hundreds of ministers and leaders who are called of God are leaving the ministry every month because they feel they have no one to talk to.   I believe that the missing link is the "one on one"  mentor in their life who understands their temperament to guide them through the unforeseen but inevitable challenges that they will face in their ministry.

The truth is, my generation and the next need each other.  We need their passion and energy...they need our wisdom, experience and resources.  My desire is to see our generations come together to usher in what may be the last great revival before the return of Christ.
