Dan MontgomeryHis musical family introduced him to singing on stage at the age of three. Since then, he has performed in a wide range of venues including theater and television, clubs and churches, the National Cathedral, the Kennedy Center, and on the now retired Queen Elizabeth II.
Dan's Christian legacy goes back three generations. His parents pastored IPHC, Open Bible and Assembly of God churches in South Carolina, Oklahoma, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and North Carolina. Today, they live in Greenville, SC, the town where their journey together began. They are still very active in their local church’s leadership.
After graduating in 1984 from Southeastern College in Lakeland, FL , Dan and his wife, Pam, were part of a new church plant in Raleigh, NC, where they met Robbie and Martha Trice. Dan again worked with Robbie after relocating to Summerville, SC in 1993. From 1995 until 1997 he performed in what was at that time the longest running stage show in the history of Charleston, SC. Today, he serves DayStar Church in Summerville, SC as Associate Pastor and Chief Musician.
